In memory of Russian politician Boris Nemtsov, a Charitable Foundation named after him was founded in Germany in 2015. The Foundation’s goals include supporting the dialogue between Russia and the European Union, implementing educational programs, and preserving the legacy of Boris Nemtsov.
The Foundation annually organizes the Forum, which traditionally takes place in early October and is timed to the birthday of Boris Nemtsov. Every year, the Foundation awards the Nemtsov Prize for Courage in upholding democratic values.
