Ute Kochlowski-Kadjaia

Project Manager for Russia and Central Asia at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, Board Member of the German-Ukrainian Forum. 

In 2022, she joined the Board of the Boris Nemtsov Foundation for Freedom. 

In 1980, she graduated with honors from the Philosophy Department of Leningrad State University. From 1980 to 1990, she was a researcher at the Institute for International Economic Policy (Institut für Internationale Politik und Wirtschaft, IPW, Berlin). From 1991 to 2009, she was Head of Commercial Department at Dresdner Bank. From 2011 to 2013, she headed the Berlin office of the Union for Eastern and Central Europe (since 2014, the East European Union of German Economy, Osteuropaverein der deutschen Wirtschaft) and then became executive and later managing director of the organization and has kept a similar position in the Eastern Committee of the East European Union of German Economy (Ostausschuss-Osteuropaverein der Deutschen Wirtschaft). Since May 2020, she has been in charge of the Russian projects of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
