Konstantin Kotov has become this year’s winner of the Boris Nemtsov Prize for Courage. Konstantin received a four-year real prison term for taking part in mass summer protests in support of independent candidates that were barred from running for the Moscow City Council.
He has become a symbol of peaceful resistance. He’s a civil activist, a political prisoner and just a man of courage. We congratulate Konstantine and wish him to be released as soon as possible!
