One year ago, one of Russia’s opposition leaders, statesman Boris Nemtsov was shot dead in the Bolshoy Moskvoreckii bridge near the Kremlin.
On this day in the Open Russia Club in London the Boris’s eldest daughter Zhanna Nemtsova presents the Boris Nemtsov Foundation For Freedom, which she has established in memory of her father.
Zhanna Nemtsova and Foundation’s Board members will talk about their mission, their goals and their projects.
This evening the Russian-German documentary film “Boris Nemtsov” will be shown. It is made with the participation of Mikhail Kasyanov, Alexei Navalny, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Mikhail Prokhorov, Zhanna and Raisa Nemtsov, Evgenia Albats, Mikhail Fridman, Alfred Kokh, Mikhail Khodorkovsky. This film will be at the same time screening on the German TV channel ZDF.
