Boris Nemtsov’s daughter Zhanna appealed to the European Court of Human Rights against inefficient investigation of her father’s murder. According to her lawyer Vadim Prokhorov, the appeal was filed in connection with the breaches of the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms committed by the Russian authorities who had violated its provisions which guarantee right to life.
Zhanna had previously appealed in Basmanny District Court of Moscow against the refusal of Russia’s Federal Investigative Committee to interrogate Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and some other high rank Chechen officials in the course of her father’s murder investigation.
