Dina Yakovlevna Nemtsova, the mother of Boris Nemtsov, passed away on February 14, just shy of her 96th birthday.
She was born on March 3, 1928, in Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod). Throughout her life, she worked as a pediatrician, earning the title of Honored Doctor of Russia. Dina Yakovlevna was a remarkably strong, honest, and passionate individual who had a profound influence on her children and loved ones.
